Darek Jackson is a music creator from Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of 22, he joined Al Jarreau as bassist and backing vocalist, and toured with Michael McDonald, Ray Parker Jr., Tania Maria, and others in various genres. In the 1980s, he formed Chicken Shack, based in Japan. In addition to his solo activities, he has also toured with Eikichi Yazawa and Masayoshi Takanaka.
